GRAND MARAIS HARBOR NEEDS YOUR HELP ! !
Grand Marais is in a grant/contest through Reader's Digest for a community project. Our project is, of course, our much needed breakwall. We are in the lead now, but there is a town that is gaining on us fast, so that is where you come in.
We would like you to go to www.wehearyouamerica.readersdigest.com and register, using your email address and our zip which is 49839. You can then hit the CHEER button on the left 10 times. You can do this daily, 10 times each day. It only takes a moment and is so important to this community. In addition to the money, which is great, the national publicity our harbor will receive would be phenomenal.
As friends of Grand Marais, you are aware of what we had and what we have lost due to the failure of the breakwall. After so many broken promises by the USACE (Corps of Engineers) and our legislators, we are moving ahead in the attempt to do this on our own.
