Pulling UP the Anchor and Heading South East

Packing UP this weekend to head to the Carolinas on Monday. That is the main course that My Lady Robin and I will be steering, but we will have to be making a few stops along the way.  Almost like being under sail and heading into the wind, we will be making a few tacks to get where we are going. Before we even get out of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan we have to cruise east along U.S. 2 and make some stops at a few stores to deliver the current issue. It seems Robin ran out of copies on her way back home from her routes downstate.
The next tack will take us to find a safe spot to anchor in Lansing, so I can attend a meeting at the headquarters of the Michigan Press Association. This planning session has been called to set an agenda for the Annual Winter Convention of the group, to be held in downtown Detroit next January. After the meeting we will cast off for Chapel Hill, N.C. for sisters youngest daughters wedding. There is a real story involved with this event.
Mollie has been attending the University of North Carolina long enough to get a Master degree in her field. The wedding will start a real lessons of life as it really is. It seems see did not follow the instructions her parents before starting relationships while at the school. It was one simple rule, "Do not get involved with a guy named Chad," which might seem as a weird request, but there was a good reason for this. It seems Mollie's two older sisters both married Chads and having Chad #1 and Chad #2 was confusing enough, but a Chad #3 would be even worse. I'm sure you guessed it . . . Mollie is getting married to a Chad. I guess the way to keep things straight will be to call everybody by their last names, sort of like a military thing. That might even help mollie's parents to maintain so kind of control.
From there we will be setting a course for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where we will be doing some story writing for our publications. So stay onboard and you can be cruising along with us as we make this cruise.
